This past weekend, I had the honor of joining The Rocket Foundation. a nonprofit founded by Quavo and dedicated to ending gun violence, at their International Bereaved Mother's Day Brunch. The event brought together mothers who’ve experienced the unimaginable: losing their children to gun violence.

The atmosphere was heavy at first, and rightfully so. Seeing photos of their children brought out tears and tender memories. But once I started playing music, something shifted. I could feel the energy begin to lift! Mamas smiling, singing, even dancing! It was a beautiful reminder that music truly heals. I was grateful to help create a space where joy could live alongside the pain.

One moment I’ll never forget? Quavo himself was there, quietly supporting and handing out flowers to every mother in the room. And those beautiful blooms? Provided by Fenty Beauty. It was a subtle but powerful show of love and solidarity.
